i imagine those vietnam vets
still fighting the war in
their minds must hate life
a little more than they usually do
right about now

hell, with all this talk on tv
day and night about the destruction,
devastation and damage from
charley

i would have to think it wouldn't
be that hard to believe
it's the late sixties again and
you're in the jungle, waist
deep in a never ending rain

shit, right after the weather
reports, you're bound to see
some political ad that mentions
vietnam as well

no wonder that war
will never fucking end
